Frederic John BILLING
.jpg)
John Billing lives in Australia but his family is related to the Billings of Henger in Cornwall. Gold and black together with the bend & stag’s head couped are all seen in the original Billings arms. Gold & Black are also the county colours of Cornwall and this connection is maintained through the use of the Celtic crosses and motto. The swords signify justice (Mr Billing was a JP for Queensland) and military service with the RASC in Malaya. The green shield around the stag’s neck indicates the grantee’s interests in heraldry & genealogy.
